Contribute to survey research on emotion and online media

Hello! Energy Inside, a Massachusetts-based startup, is looking for contributors to our research into Internet media – pictures, videos, text – and how they affect people’s emotions. We’re using this information to help us build a new online mental health solution, which will use media to help people manage their moods; you can read more about our work at energyinside.com.

What we need are people to complete a simple survey, once a week, viewing 5 items online and describing the feelings those items evoke. Each week’s survey will take approximately 15-30 minutes; you can respond anytime, and you can skip any week you choose. Although we think the surveys are fun on their own, as an added incentive, one respondent each week will win a $50 jackpot! If this sounds interesting to you, you should apply to join the Energy Inside Research Panel.

To apply, fill out the form at http://www.energyinside.net/surveys/index.php?sid=96455&lang=en. Because the panel is of limited size, and we need a diversity of voices and backgrounds, not everyone who applies can be accepted – but there is another $50 prize, awarded randomly to one person just for signing up!

We promise never to give out your email address or personal information to anyone; we will never try to sell you any products or services. There’s more detail on these policies, how we protect your privacy, and general information about the Panel, in our FAQ at http://energyinside.com/surveys/faq.htm; you can also feel free to email us with any questions, at panel@energyinside.net. Thanks very much!

nice question ;)
