like the Democrats and news media are dismissing the impact of a Republican Senator being elected in Massachusetts? Let’s hope someone was listening. I prefer a bloodless return to a democratic republic.
Marco, I’m sorry you didn’t understand I was asking the first part in a historical reference. I should have been more specific.
It was a comparison.
Obviously they did because WE won the American Revoltution (1775-1778) and THE PEOPLE won a voice again with the "Scott (Brown) heard ’round the world" in MA yesterday.
Why would the British care about the new senator of Massachusetts? Strangely enough, America is not the centre of the universe…pffft

Why should we, the British, be concerned with an election in Mass. even if it has given Obama a poke in the eye? Can’t see the connection.
I’m much more interested in our UK elections, (when we eventually learn when they are to be held.), when we will have a good clear out of this shambles of a sad and corrupt parliament and can focus on how to get us out of the mess we are in.

The news media only covers what the want. I don’t think they are ignoring it, instead they are just not publicizing it.
The Democrats may be claiming to dismiss the impact of this election, indicating dishonesty, stupidity, or insanity. I don’t think any of the Democratic leaders are stupid. Most of them are sane. But as for honesty, they have proven their integrity by their actions, i.e. weekend, midnight votes on health care. This election should frighten every Democrat who is up for election.
I say, "NOW is the time for change!"
